Where it began
Khambhat is a port town in Gujarat, on the west coast of India. It has long been known for agate and carnelian, cut and polished by hand. That is where the family started trading gemstones and beads in 1986, buying from local cutters and selling to shops.
The buying standard is the same one the family still uses: a stone should be real, well cut, and fairly priced. If it is dyed or treated, we say so.

What shops can count on
Chosen with a buyer's eye
Colour, polish, clean drilling, and natural material. If a stone is not right, we do not sell it.
Checked before it ships
Every piece is looked over by hand in Kitchener before it is packed.
Honest about the stone
Natural stones vary. Dyed or treated stones are labelled on the product page.
The retail shop at mysticgleam.com is separate. This site is for wholesale accounts, pack sizes, and order requests.
